Capes 4 Kids a great success with children coming in to the hospital

Courtney Ellen, (pictured below) kicked off the Capes 4 Kids initiative. Courtney’s sister Hanna has made over 100 capes for the Charity and ultimately kids all over Australia. She loves making the capes and hearing the amazing feedback. She suggested that this was something that our community could benefit from, spoke to Courtney who ran with it with lots of support across Stawell Regional Health.

The initiative has really paid off with nurses dressing up as super heroes and one of the specialists writing to tell us that a patient who came in for a follow up appointment was still wearing the cape.
