Funding boost to replace some of our ageing infrastructure and support the community

Premier Andrews with Graduate Nurse Dayle Boyd, Director of Clinical Services Robyn Wilson and Acting CEO Libby Fifis

Stawell Regional Health was pleased to host a recent meeting with Premier Daniel Andrews and Minister for Health & Ambulance services Jill Hennessy who announced $2.2m funding from the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund.

The funding will cover the purchase of an additional chiller and replacement of aged infrastructure including air handling units and domestic hot water boilers.

It will also support the upgrade of electrical distribution boards.

With some of our buildings dating back to 1934 and a climate that is experiencing longer periods of high heat and humidity these significant projects will make a big difference to the environment for patients and staff and to the consistent airflows required in theatre.

This critical infrastructure work will further support Stawell Regional Health staff in the provision of care to our community.
