COVID-19 ALERT – Positive COVID-19 case confirmed

SRH can confirm that a clinical team member tested positive to COVID-19. The staff member worked on site in the radiology department Monday, September 27th, Tuesday, 28th and Wednesday 29th September.

If you had an ultrasound over those three days, you will need a test and isolate for 14 days.

The Grampians Public Health Unit will be in contact with you directly.

If you attended Radiology, but did not have an ultrasound you are required to get a test and stay home until you receive a negative result.

At this point in time we cannot confirm if there are any community based exposure sites. Contact tracing is underway – we will confirm any updates or new information as soon as it is available.

We are asking you to stay vigilant and get tested if you have any symptoms, no matter how mild.

We are currently working with the Northern Grampians Shire to establish an off-site testing unit to support our community in accessing swabbing later today – more information to come.
