Respiratory Assessment Clinic


If you live in Stawell, or the surrounding district, and are experiencing even the mildest of flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, running nose or a scratchy throat, you are encouraged to get a COVID-19 (coronavirus) test.

If your symptoms are severe please call 000

When you call

    • You will be asked coronavirus screening questions to help us understand your situation
    • You will be advised if you need to, and when, to come to the clinic for an appointment
    • A suitable appointment time will be arranged with you.

When you arrive

    • At your appointment time, follow the instructions provided to you by the clinic
    • Please do not attend the clinic without first calling as you do need an appointment.

Please note

    • The clinic follows the current government testing guidelines
    • If you are unwell with respiratory symptoms and are assessed by a doctor, a consultation fee may be incurred (at the GP’s discretion) as part of the COVID-19 test procedure
    • Visit the Department of Health and Human Services website that will provide further COVID-19 information.
