SRH with be accepting visitors back into our facilities in accordance to guidelines
As of 11.59pm Thursday, 24 June 2021, DHHS have updated the visitor restrictions to both Hospital and Residential Care facilities.
This means that SRH will be able to accept visitors back into our facilities in accordance to the guidelines, see below:
Simpson Ward
Visiting Hours: Weekdays 10am to 7pm
Weekends: 10am to 1pm
Visitor Restrictions:
– Two visitors at a time, up to five per day, except for end of life (Two at a time, with no total limit per day)
– Visitors do not have to be from the same household, and no time limit.
Macpherson Smith Residential Care
Visiting Hours: 10.30am to 4.30pm
Visitor Restrictions:
– Two visitors at a time, up to five per day, except for end of life (Two at a time, with no total limit per day)
– Visitors do not have to be from the same household, and no time limit.
All visitors will be required to have a temperature check and use the Service Victoria QR code to check in on arrival.
Reception and ward areas will be keeping track of the number of visitors with each patient or resident as well as how many times they have been visited.
Visitors are important to patient and residents ongoing care needs and the lifting of visitor restrictions will create some excitement amongst friends and family. However, it is important that we remain compliant with all directives passed down by DHHS.
