Acute Care
24 hour care is provided in the acute ward which caters for any person who needs to be admitted to hospital. Our experienced nursing staff and visiting medical officers manage your care.
We have an extensive Allied Health team who provide care to acute patients as required. St John of God provide 24 hour pathology services and our medical imaging service is available 24 hours a day.
Simpson ward supports up to 3 Transitional Care beds within the acute ward and Grampians Health Stawell applies the acute nurse patient ratios across all beds
Community services
Once discharged, or if you need care at home our services include :
- Post-Acute Care
- District nursing
- Chronic disease management ( HARP)
- Memory Support nurse
- Outpatient Allied Health services ( including outreach to smaller communities within NGSC)
- Community Transition Care Program and
- Community Rehabilitation Services
